Where is the training held?
All CTO training courses are presented onsite, at your office or workplace. Your trainer comes to you, to facilitate your training in the comfort of your own workplace environment.

CTO Training courses are provided in all Australian capital cities, many large regional centres, and in a number of international locations:

I live in a regional centre. Can you train me here?
CTO Training can be presented anywhere in Australia.
If we don’t have a local trainer, we will organise to fly your trainer to you – you will simply need to meet travel and accommodation costs.
We normally recommend your trainer arrives in your town the day prior to your training.
Your trainer may fly to you from anywhere within Australia, as we will always match you with the most highly qualified facilitator to present your course.
Trainees
How many trainees can attend the course?
We can provide training for 1-3 trainees for the same rate.
We can provide training for 4-8 trainees for the same rate.
Extra trainees over 9 or more, are charged a fee per person
The training is only for me. What are the training charges for 1 trainee?
We can provide 1-to-1 customised, onsite training, starting from as little as $695 for a half day course, depeding on the training you require.
However, we can provide training for up to 3 trainees for the same rate. So if there is anyone else in your office who will also benefit from the training, there is no extra charge for them to attend the training.
Courses
Can the course be customised to suit my business needs?
Yes, your training can be completely tailored to your requirements.
You can leave some topics out of one course, and add new topics from other courses.
The easiest way to do this is to download the course outline from each of the courses you’re interested in, then highlight the topics you would like to cover from each course.
Then simply email the highlighted course outlines back to us, and we’ll have your trainer customise your training, to cover the topics you want.

Do I have to follow the standard course curriculum?
You don’t have to follow the standard course curriculum.
Remember, your training is customised to suit your needs. So you can:
- change topics around
- skip topics if you already have those skills
- add topics in from other course levels
- for example, have some introduction level topics and some intermediate level topics
Can I work on my own documents during the training?
Yes, we can assist you to build and complete your own documents and files as part of the training process.
Can I attend a classroom course?
We offer our training as an onsite service only, with all courses customised to suit your particular requirements.
Can I choose some topics from the Introduction Course and some topics from the Intermediate & Advanced Courses?
Yes, you can customise your training with topics from different course levels, to suit your requirements.
Manuals
Are training manuals available for my training?
Training manuals, or training reference books, are available for most courses. These can be ordered at the time you book your training.
Do I need a trainning manual for all trainees – there are 8 of us?
You can choose to have one training manual per person, or you can just order a couple of copies for the office, as reference materials following the completion of your training course.
Most training manuals are available in a printed format.
Some training manuals are now available in a digital format.

Dates
Do the courses run over one day, two days, or a number of weeks?
Your onsite training is presented by your trainer at your workplace, and can be totally customised to suit your needs and timeframes.
You can have:
- a 1-day course
- a 1.5 day course
- a 2-day course
- or 1 day per week, running over 3-4 weeks
You choose what best suits you and your business.
Your online training courses begin around the middle of each month, and two topics are released each week, over a duration of six weeks.
Can I change my course date when I have already booked the training?
Yes, you can change your training date up to 5 days prior to your training. You will incur a reschedule fee of $75.
How much will it cost me to change my training date?
There is a reschedule fee of $75 if you change your course date after your training is already booked.
Will I get a refund if I cancel my training
Your training can be fully refunded up to 10 working days prior to your scheduled course date.
There is a 50% cancellation fee if you cancel your training within 10 working days of your scheduled course date.
There is a 100% cancellation fee if you cancel your training within 2 working days of your scheduled course date.
How far in advance do I have to book my training?
You can book your course a minimum of 10 working days out, on a date which suits you.
This is done via the Course Registration page on the CTO website.
Why do you have to book 10 working days in advance? Because of the time it takes to:
- Find you an available trainer (they get very booked up)
- Issue your invoice
- Receive your payment
- Send your training confirmation details
- Have your trainer call you to discuss your required training outcomes
- Give your trainer time to then prepare your training to fit your requirements
- Order your training manuals
- Deliver your training manuals, which are printed on demand and shipped to your location/s
Times
What time will my course start?
Your training begins at 9:30am.
We request you are at your training venue, and ready to go in to your training session, at least 15 minutes prior to your course start time.
What time will my course finish?
Training is completed at 4:30pm, unless you request a shorter lunch break in order to finish your training a little earlier.
Do I get a lunch break?
Training breaks are taken for 15 minutes in the morning and afternoon, and for one (1) hour at lunchtime.
What if I only want a couple of hours training?
Our standard training day runs over 6 hours, from 9:30am – 4:30pm.
However, we also offer a half day training session, for 3 hours.
A half day course runs from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
Can I change my course times?
Our standard training sessions run from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
However, if you would prefer different start and finish times, please negotiate this directly with your trainer, when they call you to discuss your course.
Your trainer will be happy to meet your request where possible.
Booking & Payment
When do I need to pay for my training?
You don’t have to pay when you book your training.
First we will allocate you an expert CTO trainer, for the training date or dates you have requested.
You will then be issued with an invoice. Once you receive your invoice, your payment is due.
Your training is confirmed once your payment has been received.
How can I pay for my training?
Payment can be made by credit card, Paypal or direct deposit.
To make your payment, simply follow the payment link in your booking confirmation email.
How do I know my payment has been received?
Once your payment has been received by CTO, you will receive a Training Confirmation email from us.
This email will confirm that:
- your payment has been received
- your training date is booked
- your trainer has been allocated to your booking
- and your training manuals have been ordered, if you requested manuals for your training session
When will my invoice be issued?
Your invoice will be emailed to you as soon as we have allocated a trainer for you, for one of your preferred training dates.
Please note that until your payment is received, your training booking is not confirmed, and you may lose the training date/s you have requested.
So please remember to pay your invoice as soon as possible after you receive it, to lock in your trainer for your preferred training date.
Can I book my course online?
Yes, you can book your training online on the CTO website.
Please visit our Course Registration page to book your training for the date/s which best suit you.
You don’t have to pay when booking.
Once your trainer has confirmed their availability to conduct your training on the date/s you have requested, you will then be issued with an invoice.
Your training is confirmed once your invoice has been paid.
