BHP FAST TRACKS MICROSOFT TEAMS LEARNING DURING COVID-19
BHP is a world-leading resources company that extracts and processes minerals, oil and gas, selling their products worldwide. Their global headquarters are in Melbourne, Australia.
Bringing people and resources together to build a better world, BHP invest in training to ensure their people start each day with a sense of purpose and end the day with a sense of accomplishment.
The Challenge:
Cath Collins and her colleagues work in a BHP site office location in Perth. Cath manages the administration needs of the Lead Team which includes Superintendents and a Manager who run the services for their location.
The team’s reporting lines are changing soon, and Microsoft Teams is commonly used for collaboration and efficiency within the new department.
The team would normally travel to meet for training but with Covid-19 disruptions affecting the usual operation of the Facility and different work rosters changing how the team can gather, this had to be overcome.
The Solution:
Cath identified CTO Online Microsoft Teams training for the Superintendents, Manager and herself to ensure they will be confident in implementing the departmental transition.
The online group training course was selected.
The Results:
Cath said “the training was just what we needed, with all team members working from home, the course, delivered in an online environment, enabled real-time collaboration. We all embraced Microsoft Teams with eagerness and trust. Our CTO trainer was great and navigated our different skill levels with ease. This training has fast-tracked our learning.”
BHP found the CTO experience to be seamless, easily organised and with training reference documents available as continuing support, they had all their bases covered.
